I am reminded of my commencement ceremony almost exactly a year ago; a group of my friend dressed up as Disney princesses for Wacky Walk (a Stanford tradition where, instead of processing solemnly into the stadium, we capered in wearing costumes, carrying signs, holding balloons and props and silly string, serenaded by the infamous Stanford marching band). I wasn't Pocahontas -- I was Mulan, for which I sewed a costume. Ah, memories.
